As a Washington native, Heather brings nearly 20 years of Early Childhood Education experience in varying roles, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She enjoys traveling, and spending time outdoors rockhounding with her husband. She is looking forward to inspiring SECC children in the exploration of their outdoor adventures! The values of SECC and its commitment to the children, families, and community are what inspire her to be the best leader she can be!

Senior Rabbi & Director of Education, Temple B’nai Torah
Molly Weisel is the senior rabbi at Temple B’nai Torah. She received her Masters in Jewish Education (’13) and rabbinic ordination (’15) from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Los Angeles. Molly is passionate about education, loves finding creative outlets, and is always looking for ways to highlight the intersection between Judaism and the environment.

Tara has been a Kitchen Manager for the past 3½ years at a local public elementary school and brings a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (Dietetic Option) and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies in Nutrition. Tara is looking forward to preparing healthy and delicious food for our young students.
